Growing up in San Diego, California, I relished the weekends. My dad would take me to the movies, and I’d get lost in different worlds, discovering people and places so different from myself. I was fascinated, and this planted the seed for my later desire to work behind the camera and make films of my own.
After receiving a Student Heritage Award from the American Society of Cinematographers during my undergraduate studies, I went on to attend AFI Conservatory, where I received my Master’s.
Since graduation, I’ve continued working as a director and cinematographer, and love telling stories about characters both fictional and real. Collaborating with a team of people to make visual imagery with the ultimate purpose of connecting others is an absolute dream. If you’re reading this, I hope to collaborate with you one day.
